A progress bar and two buttons are below the hit list. The left button 1 leads to previous page, the right button 2 leads to next page. The progress bar 3 displays the actual position, the text informs about the records on the actual page and the total records.

You can adapt the number of lines in the hit list in →settings.

A filter method can be selected by clicking the drop-down list 1 under the column title. The search word is entered below. Finally, clicking the submit button applies the filter to the hit list. If a search word is entered, the drop-down list of the filter method will have a gray background.

Tip Characters that cannot be entered from the keyboard will be found by using 'related' character, e. g. koleska → Koleška. Format 'dd.mm.jjjj' respectively 'dd.mm.jjjj hh:mm:ss', note leading zeros and blanks! Often so-called wildcard characters % (percent) and _ (underscore) may be used (More → in the description of the fields).

With the button reset  2 in the column "action" 1 your entries for searching and arranging will be deleted.The form is displayed in a defined initial state.

A sorting method can be selected by clicking the drop-down list 1 (at the same time the column title).

With ↓ descending, the rows of the hit list are sorted from the larger to the smaller value, eg: 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0.

With ↑ ascending, the rows of the hit list are sorted from smaller to larger value, eg: a b c d e f g h.

The respective state is signalized in the column title. A bright background means unsorted, a gray sorted. The symbol in front of the title shows the sort sequence, and the number next to it the order of the columns during sorting.

After entering words to be searched for, or columns to arrange by, the form needs to be sent to the server. Therefore please finally always click in the column "Action" 1 on the button submit 2!

Use last name as well as first name to find theses. If you only want to search for first names, enter a comma before this, e.g. ",k" finds "Ahrné, Karin", "Liepold, Karen", "Kramp, Katja" etc.

Authors are linked with the "Biographies of the Entomologists of the Wold". Click at the name to see details.

In the Hit List long values are often abbreviated. If you hold the mouse over a shortened text, the complete value will be shown in a box.
