It is not possible for Pedro Carvalho Monteiro to be in possetion of the Palearctic Collection because he was only 15 years old (Born 1873-11-10, Petrópolis, Brasil) when Charles Donckier died. This collection, which formerly belonged to Jean Étienne Berce (see the comments for this entomologist), was certainly sold to his father António Augusto de Carvalho Monteiro. Pedro was his heir and in 1926 sold all his father's lepidoptera colections through Paulo Ferreira and Henry Donckier de Donceel. This Palearctic Collection was sold at auction to Fernando Carneiro Mendes and is now in the Centro de Zoologia do Instituto de Investigação Cientifica Tropical (IICT), in Lisbon (2013-09-29) — Incorporated 2013-12-17
